Hello and welcome.


My name is Tony Hope, and I’m the founder of The Little Market Shop.


For more than ten years, I worked in business development within Ireland’s technology industry, helping companies grow and build relationships with customers. While I enjoyed many aspects of the business world, I always had a desire to create something of my own—something more personal, creative, and connected to real people.


That opportunity arrived unexpectedly during a trip to Thailand with my father.


While travelling, I met local fashion buyers and small family-run manufacturers producing beautiful silk scarves, cashmere wraps, pashminas, and handcrafted accessories. Their passion, craftsmanship, and attention to detail inspired me. What started as a simple conversation soon turned into an idea.


I returned home with a suitcase full of scarves and the beginnings of what would eventually become The Little Market Shop.


Why I Started The Little Market Shop


I created The Little Market Shop to share unique products that I genuinely find interesting, useful, beautiful, or practical.


In a world filled with giant online marketplaces and endless product listings, I wanted to build a store that felt more personal. A place where products are selected thoughtfully rather than simply added by the thousands.


Today, The Little Market Shop offers a carefully curated collection of fashion accessories, luxury scarves, lifestyle products, travel essentials, gifts, wellness products, smart gadgets, and original print-on-demand designs.


Every product starts with a simple question:


“Would I recommend this to a friend or family member?”


If the answer is no, it doesn’t belong in the store.


What I Do


As founder of The Little Market Shop, I personally:


  • Research and source products from trusted suppliers
  • Work with independent manufacturers and small businesses
  • Create original product designs and artwork
  • Test new product ideas and collections
  • Write buying guides and product content
  • Continuously improve the customer experience


My goal is simple: help customers discover products that bring value, enjoyment, convenience, or inspiration to their everyday lives.
